The 4th of July is this Thursday! Did you know more pets go missing this holiday than any other? Here are some tips to make sure you keep your pets safe this holiday.
1)Keep all pets indoors, create a calm environment by turning on a TV or music. Provide a comfortable setting with blankets, toys and treats.
2)Update identification collars and microchip information to easily identify your pet in case they are to escape. Remind visitors that windows, doors and gates must remain closed.
3)Keep bones and table scraps away from pets as they can be choking hazards and make them sick.
4)Plan ahead, The 4th of July falls during the week days so be prepared for fireworks thought the weekend as well.
