We enjoy investing our time supporting the Yankton community. Dr. Pajl and staff members have participated in the middle school Career Day for many years, educating students with the importance of veterinary medicine and preventative care. We have done fun clinic tours for preschoolers enriching their knowledge of pets. The Pajl family has been heavily involved in 4-H. Doctor has served on the Yankton County Extension Board and has been a cat judge. They have participated as leaders, traveling with teams, joining in on service events, and helping with activities and fundraisers. They also spent a lot of time in the ice rink supporting the Yankton Area Ice Association. Harvest Halloween Monster Paws Dog Walk, put on in October, is sponsored by the Veterinary Medical Clinic. They also sponsor the P&D Beautiful Baby Contest. The clinic had donated a park bench at the Yankton dog park. Dr. Pajl has written articles in the local newspaper about different aspects of care needed for pets and livestock to provide them with a safe and healthy life. Staff members also love giving back to local small businesses to help grow the community.
