“Thank you; all of you for everything you did for Barney and for us over the last week and a half.  Yesterday was a shock for mom, but Dr. Jim, you handled it so compassionately and with such care and concern it made it so much easier for her to make the decision.  Also, thank you Martha, Julie, Megan, Becky and Rachel.  No matter how many times we called or how stressed we were you always showed us kindness.  Also, thank you, Dr. Jim for coming in on the weekend.  Mom left there yesterday knowing she had done everything she could possibly do for Barney, because you were willing to go the extra mile, and that put her mind at rest.  We are very sad but know we did the right thing and you helped us get there.
